His strong point is his clever comedic comebacks
My review is purely about the entertainment value of the show and whether it’s a waste of time. Billy Bob Thornton clearly puts together a show with a strong supporting cast. So if you’re not into strong language, you probably haven’t seen Bad Santa or any of his movies.
For that, I can appreciate it
The first two episodes are really funny and I like the balance of humor and then a WTF moment out of left field. I’d say it’s a strong enough start to make you want to watch. A bold show that almost seems out of place in today’s society, as everyone has to walk on eggshells about what they do or say so as not to offend anyone.
Other than that, it’s fun and not a waste of time
The show does sexualize Thornton’s 17-year-old daughter a bit, but according to research, 17 is the legal age in Texas, where the show is set, but I still found it a bit weird, so I didn’t give it a go. a perfect 10. Hopefully the first two episodes set the stage for what’s to come, and not a rope that starts to fray as the show progresses.
